  3. Kai freezes, sweating: “!!”
  4. Aoi, walking past with a mug, stops and turns slowly: “…Oh? I’d like to know too.”
  5. Both sit on either side of Kai and lean in close, staring at him.
  6. Kai, trapped between them: “Th-that’s…”
  7. Kai pulls both of them into one big hug: “Both. The same.”
  8. Inside the hug, Aoi and her daughter smile.
  9. Their daughter whispers to you with a sly look: “(It’s me.)”
  10. Aoi whispers to you with the same sly look, while Kai stands there happy: “(It’s me.)”
