  • Initial release.
  • Transcribe footage on your Mac with Whisper, then cut by selecting words in the Text panel, or remove filler words and long pauses in one step.
  • Turn a transcript into captions with the spoken word highlighted, and burn them in or save them as SRT, WebVTT or SCC.
  • Click an object in the Program monitor to get a mask that follows it from frame to frame. Auto Reframe turns a sequence into 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5 and keeps the subject in frame.
  • Generate narration with a Gemini voice and music with Lyria through your own Google account, after Bay shows what it will send and you agree.
  • One disk image for Apple silicon and Intel Macs. The command-line tool is called bay and comes inside the app: choose Bay ▸ Install Command Line Tool… to use it from Terminal, and bay mcp lets an agent drive the editor.
